About me...

I am a freshman graphic design major at Carroll Community College with an eclectic approach to design, taking whatever odd job comes my way to round-out my skills. I'm working hard to improve myself and my art as I prep for my eventual transition to a four-year school to complete my degree, a BFA in Graphic Design.

Award Winners Student Showcase at the Sheila C. Johnson Design Center at Parsons School of Design at The New School, 2016. Along with that, my wining piece "Sterotypes and the Color Wheel" will travel across the country, visiting four institutions over the course of two years

My piece "The Emperors New Clothes" was displayed in the Scott Center Gallery at Carroll Community College from early November to mid-February, 2016-2017

Spotlight on  Youth

Won second place medal and a monetary prize in photography in the local event which recognizes talents and skills of the students in Carroll County’s high schools. Works displayed at the Carroll County Public Schools Offices, 2016

Graphic Designer for IPMBA 

August of 2016 - present. I designed a series of advertisements for IPMBA's 2017 conference.

Scholastic Art and Writing Award Winner 2016

National Gold Medal Award and Gold Key Recipient  12th grade – Received for digital piece titled “Stereotypes of the Color Wheel.”  Award ceremony was celebrated in Carnegie Hall in New York City, June 2016 .

January of 2017 - present. Designing anything the college needs: posters, flyers, ads, etc. I work through the student life office.

3.68 GPA after Fall Semester at Carroll Community College

I took a total of sixteen credits, three of which where honors level classes through the Honors Program-the Hill Scholars

Arts, Humanities & Communications Achievement Award

This award was given out during my high school graduation. In order to qualify, one had to be nominated and sponsored by a teacher and been awarded an AHC accolade award. Only two students out of the graduating class can win this award.

Hills Scholar Honors Status at Carroll Community College

As part of my initiative to be a well rounded student, I applied and was accepted into the Carroll Community College Honors program called the Hills Scholar Program. Through this program I take honors-level general education credit classes.

Numerous Leadership Positions in High School

Deans List Fall 2016

In order to be eligible for the deans list  a student must take at least six credits and have a 3.5 GPA.
