About me...

I am a sophomore, Graphic Design major at Carroll Community College with an eclectic approach to design, taking whatever odd job comes my way to round-out my skills. I'm working hard to improve myself and my art as I prep for my eventual transition to a four-year school to complete my degree, a BFA in Graphic Design.

Accomplishments

Hills Scholar, Selective Honors Cohort at Community College

 Applied and was accepted into the Carroll Community College Honors program called the Hills Scholar Program. Through this program I take honors-level general education credit classes.

Scholastic Art and Writing Award Winner 2016

National Gold Medal Award and Gold Key Recipient  12th grade – Received for digital piece titled “Stereotypes of the Color Wheel.”  Award ceremony was celebrated in Carnegie Hall in New York City, June 2016 .

Graphic Designer at Carroll Community College

January of 2017 - present. Designing anything the college needs: posters, flyers, ads, etc. I work through the student life office.

Experience

Campus Activities Board, Vice President of Marketing

In charge of  creating the flyers and banners advertising the events on campus, attending meetings and promoting events to students.

Involvement

Student Government Organization, President

Must attend meetings, contribute to the planning of SGO sponsored events and promoting SGO to fellow students.

Phi Theta Kappa, Member

Extra-curricular honors society at Carroll Community college. Membership requires a 3.5 GPA or above with over 12 credits per semester.
